Why fitment factor matters
The selected fitment factor is multiplied by current basic pay to estimate revised basic pay. HRA is then calculated as a percentage of that revised basic pay. This makes fitment factor one of the most important assumptions in any 8th CPC HRA estimate. The presets here are for comparison only, and users can enter a custom value if they want to test another scenario.
This independent calculator is designed for planning and comparison. It does not represent an official government calculation, and it should be updated when the final 8th Central Pay Commission recommendations and HRA orders are published.

No. This MVP only estimates HRA. It does not calculate DA, TA, NPS, income tax, gross salary or net salary.
